Pick up from Madurai Airport and drive to the hotel, on arrival check in. Day 2 (Fri 2nd May) : Madurai to Rameswaram - Transfer and Rameswaram Sightseeing
After breakfast checkout from hotel and transfer to Rameswaram, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing and overnight stay at Rameswaram.Rameswaram is in the Ramanathapuram district in Tamil Nadu. It is located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 50 kilometres from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, is connected to mainland India by the Pamban Bridge. Rameswaram is the terminus of the railway line from Chennai and Madurai.Rameswaram Sightseeing includes Ramanathaswamy Temple, Five Faced Hanuman Temple & Pamban Bridge
Day 3 (Sat 3rd May) : Rameswaram to Trivandrum - Transfer
After breakfast check out from the hotel and you are driven to Trivandrum.
Day 4 (Sun 4th May) : Trivandrum - Full Day Sightseeing
Start your day with a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, (Thiruvananthapuram) literally means ‘the abode of Anantha’, the snake God. The main attraction of the city is the Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple dedicated to Vishnu (also known as Padmanabha) reclining on the snake Anantha. The imposing gopuram (gateway tower) and intricate sculptures of the temple make it a very popular tourist attraction. Later visit Napier Museum, an art and natural history museum which houses a collection of archaeological and historic artifacts, bronze idols, ancient ornaments, a temple chariot and ivory carvings. Sri Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Mondays & Wednesday forenoons) displays the original paintings of Raja Ravi Varma which houses a collection of paintings from the Rajput, Mughal and Tanjore schools. The collection also includes unique copies of Indian mural paintings from prehistoric times down to the 18th century. Overnight stay at Trivandrum.
Day 5 (Mon 5th May) : Trivandrum - Departure
Check out from the resort and drive to Trivandrum airport. Board the flight to your onward destination feeling content about a wonderful holiday you spent in the “God’s Own Country”. Our services end after dropping you at Trivandrum airport.
